Webflow today announced the appointment of Sue Bostrom as an independent member of its Board of Directors. A seasoned operator and board leader, Bostrom has helped guide numerous companies through IPOs and has spent her career scaling category-defining enterprise software businesses. She was also recently named to The Wall Street Journal‘s inaugural list of Top Corporate Board Directors.
Her appointment marks a strategic step in Webflow’s next chapter of growth. As the company expands its enterprise platform and brings more AI-powered capabilities to market, Bostrom’s addition reinforces its commitment to durable scale, smart governance, and product leadership.
Bostrom currently serves on the boards of ServiceNow, GitLab, and Samsara, and previously held board roles at Anaplan, Cadence Design Systems, Marketo, and Varian Medical Systems. At Cisco, Bostrom spent nearly 14 years in senior leadership roles, including serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. During her tenure, she led global marketing, brand strategy, and the company’s iconic “Welcome to the Human Network” campaign. She also founded and led Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group, advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation and emerging technology adoption.
“Sue’s leadership has shaped some of the most successful SaaS companies of our time and I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful, sharp, and values-driven she is,” said Linda Tong, CEO of Webflow. “As AI becomes foundational to how software is built and delivered, her presence on our board signals the kind of company we’re building: forward-looking, product-led, and built to last.”
Bostrom is widely respected for her clarity and operational rigor, especially in moments of market and product transformation. Her background aligns closely with Webflow’s push to deliver more AI-powered, scalable web experiences for enterprise teams.
“Webflow is one of those rare companies where product vision and market timing are aligned,” said Sue Bostrom. “There’s trust in the leadership, momentum in the platform, and a real chance to lead as AI reshapes the way digital experiences are built.”
As an independent director, Bostrom will serve as Chair of the Compensation Committee. Her appointment marks a key step in Webflow’s board evolution as the company strengthens its governance and prepares for its next phase of growth.
